During her 20 year career as dancer of The Netherland Dance Theater (NDT) Nancy Euverink danced and created choreographies of renowned choreographers such as Jirí Kylián, Mats Ek, Hans van Manen, Wayne McGregor, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Jorma Elo and also choreographer duo Lightfoot León.

She has created numerous choreographies for the annual NDT choreographic workshop, creating her own sound designs for these ballets as well.

Nancy was awarded the award of achievement by Dancers Foundation ’79) in January 2005.

After retiring from the stage in 2007 Ms. Euverink has staged several choreographies for Jirí Kylián. In addition she has assisted Jorma Elo with the creation of several of his works as well as staged Elo’s work at numerous internationally renowned companies.

Companies worked with as stager and assistant of Jirí Kylián and Jorma Elo: Hubbard Street Chicago, Royal Danish Ballet, American Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet Basel, Norwegian National Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Boston Ballet, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Scottish Ballet, State Ballet of Georgia, Moscow Stanislavski, Vienna State Opera Ballet, Finnish National Ballet, Houston Ballet.

As director of the Dance Department (2011 – 2014) at the Royal Conservatoire, Nancy Euverink has played a key role in realizing the first ‘Young Talent Performance’ together with NDT and their Talent Development and Education Department. A performance created with established NDT repertoire and new choreographic creations by young choreographers cultivated in the NDT house.

During her time as director of the Dance Department choreographers such as Cayetano Soto, Jirí Kylián, Sol Leon, Paul Lightfoot, Alexander Ekman, Jirí Pokhorny, Johan Inger and Jorma Elo have worked with the students and contributed to several unique performances. One of these performances was a special tribute, curated and directed by Nancy Euverink, in 2013, for H.R.H. Princes Beatrix as gratitude for her endless support for the Royal Conservatoire and the arts in general.

At Netherlands Dance Theater Nancy acted as assistant to choreographers such as León Lightfoot, Johan Inger, Marne and Imre van Opstal, Jirí Pokhorny as well as staged, rehearsed and coached works by Marco Goecke, Alexander Ekman, Hans van Manen, Sharon Eyal – Gai Behar and Edward Clug.
